The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Head of Quality Assurance (Global Services) to lead quality, compliance, and risk management activities across a globally distributed service environment.
This role is ideal for a strategic yet hands-on QA leader with an engineering mindset, strong critical thinking skills, and experience operating across regulated industries such as pharma, biotech, and environmental services. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders and external partners, ensuring quality standards are upheld while enabling efficient, scalable operations.
The position offers a hybrid working model and does not require full-time site presence, making it well suited to professionals experienced in vendor-facing and remote QA leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and continuously improve the Quality Assurance framework across global services
* Oversee vendor quality management, including audits, performance reviews, and compliance assessments
* Ensure adherence to regulatory and quality standards relevant to pharma, biotech, and regulated environments
* Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Regulatory, Operations, and Supply partners
* Drive risk identification, forecasting, and mitigation strategies across services and suppliers
* Support inspections, audits, and quality investigations where required
* Act as a senior QA contact for both internal stakeholders and external partners
Key Requirements:
* 5+ years’ experience in Quality Assurance within regulated industries
* Engineering or technical background with strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
* Proven experience in vendor management, supplier audits, and external quality oversight
* Strong understanding of QA, compliance, and regulatory expectations
* Experience working in cross-functional and international environments
* Comfortable operating in remote / hybrid global service models
* Fluent in English, with strong working knowledge of Dutch and French
