HR & People Operations Specialist (Focus: HR administration, recruitment, payroll & culture)

We are looking for a proactive and organized HR & People Operations Specialist to strengthen our HR team and support our growing organization.
In this role, you’ll take ownership of HR administration, recruitment, and take the lead of the payroll process, while also contributing to people initiatives and company culture. You’ll ensure smooth HR operations, provide excellent employee support, and help Rombit continue to attract and retain great talent.
You’ll work closely with and report to the Rombit Management Team.


Recruitment & Onboarding
Manage the full recruitment cycle: job postings, sourcing, screening, scheduling, and onboarding.
HR Administration & Compliance
Handle the administrative aspects of the employee lifecycle — contracts, amendments, leave, benefits, and offboarding.
Ensure compliance with Belgian labor law and company policies.

Manage our payroll process: manage the preparation and processing of the monthly payroll in close collaboration with our external payroll partner.
Manage time registration, absences, benefits, and social declarations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of all payroll-related data.

Fleet Management
Administer and manage the company’s vehicle fleet, including contracts, insurance, and maintenance follow-up.
Help organize team events and foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
Contribute to employer branding and HR projects that strengthen Rombit’s people experience.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Office Management, or a related field.
5 years of experience in HR administration or a similar operational HR role.
Strong knowledge of Belgian labor law, payroll processes, and HR best practices.
Experience with recruitment and onboarding.
Fluent in Dutch and English.
