Our client is looking for a Senior Azure IAM Engineer / Cloud Security Engineer. The role may be partly remote but you must be on site at Gosselies at least 2 days per week, ideally the same days as the rest of the team. Additional on-site days may be requested as needed. Because Gosselies is not easily accessible by public transport, you must have a driving licence and a vehicle for travel. Travel to other sites is possible.
The Senior Azure IAM Engineer / Cloud Security Engineer will join the Factory IAM. The goal is to implement the strategy of cleaning privileged rights in Azure, applying best security practices, removing unmanaged inheritances, and modelling technical roles in a complex cloud environment.
Responsibilities
* Collect and analyze existing permissions in Azure (Management Groups, Subscriptions, Resource Groups).
* Remove unwanted rights inheritances from Management Group Root.
* Implement secure RBAC role models adapted to business needs.
* Automate audits and access reviews via PowerShell, Azure CLI.
* Monitor privileged role usage (Owner, Global Admin, etc.) and propose remediations.
* Collaborate with IAM, I&O and security teams to integrate roles into existing workflows.
* Document roles, inheritance rules, and assignment processes.
* Monitor and report activity logs (Audit Logs) for detecting anomalies and security violations.
Technical Skills & Qualifications
* Certification Microsoft SC-300: Identity Administrator Associate – Must have.
* Certification Microsoft SC-104: Azure Administrator Associate – Nice to have.
* Expertise in Azure RBAC, Entra ID, PIM, and custom role management.
* Proficiency with automation tools: PowerShell, Azure CLI.
* Knowledge of Azure limits (assignments count, inheritance, etc.).
* Experience in cloud security and access governance.
* Ability to work in multi-team environments and manage complex technical projects.
* Languages: French C1, English B2.
* Autonomy.
