The skeyes Urbanism service is responsible for all requests for advice regarding the placement of buildings, wind turbines, permanent or temporary structures or installations in areas that pose a potential risk to aviation safety. In this capacity, the service plays a key role in aviation safety and in guiding urbanism planning projects.
As head of your department, you will lead and unite the teams around projects and activities that fall under your authority. You will play a key role in defining and implementing strategic guidelines, anticipating political decisions, societal changes and the expectations of public opinion.
What does the Urbanism Manager do at skeyes?
The role involves the following activities:
* Support and advice to management
* advising the Executive Committee based on his/her expertise and field knowledge with the aim of clarifying decision-making and contributing to the definition of strategic guidelines;
* supporting the implementation of the company's strategy within the department and ensuring that strategic and operational objectives are effectively achieved with the aim of maximising the department's contribution to the achievement of the company's overall objectives.
* Development and management of urban planning policy
* ensuring accurate knowledge about stakeholders;
* acting as a contact person for public authorities and stakeholders;
* representing skeyes at press events relating to urban planning issues and at coordination meetings with stakeholders;
* ensuring the roll-out of the wind energy roadmap;
* communicating with stakeholders regarding new or amended procedures;
* overseeing quality policy, including the development of new procedures and/or the adaptation of existing procedures in response to external and internal recommendations;
* monitoring and evaluating of the urban planning policy;
* ensuring the deployment and correct application of the tools (CRM, GIS, SharePoint) needed to generate advice in the field of urban planning.
* People management
Organising and planning the distribution of responsibilities and tasks and supervising their implementation. Leading, developing, managing and coaching the team with the aim of making optimal use of their competencies, skills and know-how in order to function as a well-oiled team.
This includes, among other things:
* leading, coaching or managing the teams for which he/she is responsible;
* stimulating both individual motivation and teamwork;
* ensuring the professional development of his/her staff, evaluating their performance and training needs;
* keeping the team's knowledge up to date and structured (training, documentation);
* being responsible for KPIs, the monthly dashboard and reporting;
* ensuring the correct and fair application of all regulatory provisions relating to staff;
* drawing up budgets and ensuring that they are correctly followed up.

Guiding and supporting the various departments, in close collaboration with the team, in applying the relevant procedures to ensure the smooth progress of files and the efficient implementation of projects.

* you have a master's degree and at least 7 years of relevant professional experience in urban planning;
