Finance Manager (Belgium & Netherlands)
Location: Leuven, Belgium
Alivira Benelux NV, part of the global Alivira Group, is a fast-growing pharmaceutical company in the animal health sector. With a mission to improve the health and overall well-being of animals, we combine the strength of an international group with the agility of a small, dynamic team in Leuven.
We are now looking for a Finance Manager to strengthen our team and support our growth in Belgium and the Netherlands.
Your Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Controlling
* Ensure compliance with Belgium & Netherlands GAAP as well as IFRS.
* Apply and monitor Belgium & Netherlands statutory laws (VAT, social security, taxes, etc.).
* Manage and coordinate local audits.
* Guarantee accurate and timely monthly/quarterly/yearly statutory filings.
* Safeguard the internal control framework.
* Review statutory payment calculations and ensure timely payments.
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
* Oversee monthly reporting and closing processes.
* Prepare Management Information Systems (MIS) reports.
* Develop budgets and conduct variance analysis.
* Support management with rolling forecasts and business insights.
* Develop PowerBI reports on sell-in and on sell-out data
* Supervise accounting activities for Belgium and the Netherlands.
* Monitor and manage cash flow.
* Optimize working capital.

Your Profile
* Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
* Strong knowledge of Belgium & Netherlands GAAP, IFRS, and statutory laws.
* Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting and analysis.
* Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
* Strong communication skills in English and Dutch (French is an advantage).
* Hands-on, proactive, and able to thrive in a dynamic environment.
* Manager/coach of a small team.
* Relevant knowledge of PowerBI as a developer and user.
