At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to join our UniQue team.
What will you be doing in this role?
* Plan, implement, and manage assigned projects in accordance with organizational regulations and agency project management policies and procedures.
* Develop business cases, including procurement strategies, benefit and risk analyses, project proposals, and/or statements of work, to secure sponsor approval and funding.
* Execute management, coordination, and quality assurance functions essential for successful delivery of capabilities and services.
* Understand client requirements, collect and analyze data, and provide problem resolution.
* Deliver projects within defined scope, time, cost, and quality tolerances, and report progress regularly and on an ad-hoc basis as required.
* Identify, plan, and allocate resources to meet project milestones, and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
* Manage project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), report anomalies, and initiate corrective actions.
* Proactively manage risks and issues, maintain up-to-date logs, and report deviations with applicable courses of action.
* Proactively manage project cash flow and contribute to financial planning and reporting.
* Support annual and multi-year business planning and forecasting through accurate project planning and forecasting.
* Maintain realistic project plans and ensure regular, accurate communication to stakeholders.
* Provide relevant technical support and maintenance to keep project and risk plans, or other relevant information, current in enterprise business applications.
Requirements
What do you need to succeed in this position?
* A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from a nationally recognized/certified university in a related discipline, plus 3 years of relevant post-degree experience.
* A recognized formal Project Management qualification, such as PRINCE2 Practitioner or Project Management Professional (PMP).
* Recent extensive project management experience (at least three years) in a large-scale IT organization.
* Experience in planning, design, system engineering, and implementation of communication systems in complex IT or defense-related projects.
* Knowledge and experience in state-of-the-art technologies relevant to the role, including deployable communication and information systems (CIS) network design, switched multimedia networks, and familiarity with related international, commercial, or industry standards.
* Proven ability to communicate effectively, both orally (with tact and diplomacy) and in writing, including strong briefing skills.
* Desirable:
o ITIL Foundation Level Certification.
o Engineering background and technical leadership experience.
o Experience with project management automation tools (e.g., ServiceNow) and collaborative work platforms.
* An active security clearance at NATO Secret level is mandatory at the time of application.
* Good command of spoken and written English (B2) is required.
