Network Security Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Network Security Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the client solution at customer locations, interacting with the service desk team to resolve issues, and logging and managing incidents and problems in customer systems.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent written and spoken English, and the ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines. They will also possess an intermediate to senior level of knowledge and experience in systems integration, with a minimum of 5 years of working experience in network analysis, troubleshooting, monitoring, and management systems in a WAN/LAN environment.
* Main Responsibilities:
* Manage the client solution at customer locations
* Interact with the service desk team to resolve issues
* Log and manage incidents and problems in customer systems
* Provide Level 2 support on incidents and problems as per agreed Service Level Agreement
* Liaise with Level 3 support teams comprising client professionals and Level 3 support from various suppliers
* Prepare and manage service-related documentation
* Advise, build, troubleshoot, and maintain solutions using Citrix NetScaler technology
* Troubleshoot and maintain basic network infrastructure based on Cisco technology
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* NATO Security Clearance
* A valid work and residence permit for the EU
* A can-do attitude, must be eager to learn, is flexible, and customer-focused
* A natural initiative and pro-activeness to their method of working, be open to and advise on new ideas
* Strong communication skills with an excellent standard of written and spoken English
* Strong team player skills but also must be able to work on own initiative
* The ability to work well to deadlines and under pressure
* An intermediate to senior level of knowledge and experience in systems integration with a minimum of 5 years of working experience in network analysis, troubleshooting, monitoring, and management systems in a WAN/LAN environment

* Forward Proxy (Z-scaler – Ironports)
* Infoblox (Forward DNS, External DNS)
* Trendmicro IWSVA
* DNS (primary and secondary)
* Citrix Netscaler (GSLB, Content Switching, Remote access, Web Application FW)
* Akamai (CDN, DNS Delegation)
* HID Radius
Preferred Knowledge:
* Solarwinds (NPM, NCM, SAM, SLA, Netflow)
* VPN (S2S, SLL, IPSEC)
* VMware, Linux, Windows base skills
