As our Web Design / UX-UI Intern, you’ll help turn our bold mission into seamless, emotionally intelligent user journeys across all touchpoints. From our AI Shade Match Tool to our conversion-optimized website and digital onboarding, your role is to make every click feel intuitive, safe, and empowering. You’ll be working directly with the founder and our marketing team, focused on storytelling, growth, and inclusivity. Design and optimize web pages and flows on our Shopify storefront Collaborate on the design of our AI Shade Matching Tool and onboarding experiences Conduct UX audits and propose concrete improvements (mobile desktop) Translate our brand identity into digital design: color, typography, UI behavior Collaborate with content creators to enhance the UI of video, testimonials, community features Create wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity prototypes Test and validate your designs with real users (patients, parents, make-up artists) Support in A/B testing and UX/UY metrics You think in flows and feel what users need, even when they don’t say it You're fluent in Figma (Adobe XD, Webflow or Framer are a plus) You care deeply about accessibility, inclusivity, and design that empowers You’re a systems thinker but love polishing the tiniest details You take initiative, thrive in fast-paced environments, and seek impact Experience with Shopify, HTML/CSS, or front-end tools is a strong plus Bonus: You resonate with our mission to reshape beauty norms and empower people with visible differences A minimum 1-month internship — preferably longer — with potential to grow into a full-time role A creative workspace in Dok Noord, Ghent Ownership over meaningful projects Mentorship from a high-performing team in UX, branding and growth A front-row seat in the startup world — fast-paced and impact-driven Freedom to test ideas Aspilon is a cosmetics brand built for people living with visible skin differences.
