About the Role
We are seeking a Senior OutSystems Developer (Freelance) to join our client's innovation-driven team for a 12-month mission. You'll be at the heart of building and scaling next-generation B2B trade solutions, collaborating with visionaries who are redefining digital trade ecosystems. As an OutSystems Developer, you will be instrumental in designing and delivering robust, scalable applications and reusable components that drive innovation and growth. Your work will directly impact the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of digital trade platforms, supporting ambitious ventures and shaping the future of trade technology.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the technical build of AREA42 applications and reusable components using OutSystems, including APIs, user experience, front and backend systems, data modules, and overall architecture.
* Collaborate closely with Tech Leads, Enterprise Architects, and Product Owners to define and implement the best technologies, tools, and architectures for each project.
* Act as a senior advisor to project teams, driving technical excellence and innovation across ventures.
* Manage technical benchmarks and deliver innovative solutions across web and API architectures.
* Identify and deploy best practices to ensure sustainable scalability and maintainability of applications.
* Document meaningful code and ensure each module is an asset for future development.
* Maintain and monitor AREA42 applications and related processes, including daily operations, issue resolution, and deployment of updates.
* Execute technical tests and maintain all OutSystems environments (DEV, TST, PROD).
* Develop new features and client-specific changes, including testing, documentation, and deployment.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to review and maintain comprehensive test collections.
* Perform systematic peer code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables and foster a culture of knowledge sharing within the team.
Technical Skills
* Expert-level experience as a full stack OutSystems developer, ideally in a startup or innovation-driven environment.
* Proven execution across both frontend and backend environments.
* Experience with data architecture is a strong plus.
* Familiarity with web and API architectures.
* Understanding of B2B trade is advantageous; knowledge of trade credit insurance is a bonus.
Language Proficiency
* English: Full professional proficiency required.
