Overview
Senior Airplane Systems Integration Engineer (Certification and Safety) – BBST Brazil. Join the 777X team to support certification and safety efforts.
Key Responsibilities
* Serve as focal point for systems integration on Certification and Safety projects, supporting the entire Systems IPT.
* Collaborate with Systems, Propulsion, Interiors, Avionics, Structures, Regulatory Administration (Boeing Certification Office), and ALIT (Aircraft Level Integration Team) to coordinate technical information, processes, and strategies for airplane‑level certification and safety.
* Translate ALIT direction into actionable plans following Boeing safety process (ARP4761).
* Promote alignment across program area, engineering, certification/airworthiness, and project management to conduct and conclude certification processes.
* Contribute lessons learned to improve product development processes.
* Support systems IPTs in meeting certification and safety schedules, resolving roadblocks.
* Interpret Boeing processes, FAA & EASA regulations, and certification methods (Part21, Part25).
* Use requirements‑management tools as needed.
* Facilitate integration meetings (readiness reviews, ALIT/Reg Admin, program requests) and host system‑team meetings for data collection.
* Integrate system‑level and airplane‑level subjects when required.
Qualifications
* Right to work in Brazil.
* Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
* Registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (CREA).
* Proficiency in English, verbal and written.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with ARP4754, ARP4761, DO‑160.
* Design engineering/Design processes experience.
* Metrics development and Design Assurance or Process Assurance experience.
* Agile project management experience.
* Rapid analysis, organization, and communication of complex technical concepts.
* Experience with internal technical management systems (e.g., DCCS, LCS, ECC, MBC, Fireview, ECSLIB, REDARS, ETAC, SharePoint, JIRA, Gitlab).
* Certification and/or Engineering Change Approval training or willingness to acquire it.
Relocation and Work Arrangement
This hybrid role may require onsite work at one of the listed locations. The hiring team may change onsite requirements. Relocation is offered based on candidate eligibility.

This is a locally hired position in Brazil. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. payroll. Employer will not sponsor employment visa status.
