The mission of the Center for the Development of the Gifted and Talented (CDGT) is to help highly able learners explore their interests and understand their talents through diversified learning opportunities from one-day workshops to long-term comprehensive programs, as well as other social-emotional and psychoeducation activities. We aim to create a supportive community for gifted and talented learners for the benefit of their intellectual and whole-person development. Our service targets range from upper primary school to senior secondary school students, as well as undergraduate students.
The appointee is expected to (a) assist in the administration and logistics arrangement of program activities, (b) liaise with internal and external parties on program arrangements, (c) handle inquiries from students and parents, (d) provide clerical support to course instructors, (e) provide on-site support to workshops/seminars/activities in relation to the programs, (f) perform any other duties as assigned.
Working outside normal office hours/on weekends may be required occasionally.
Qualifications:
* A bachelor's degree holder
* Full-time work experience preferred in the education sector
* Strong communication skills in English and Cantonese, proficiency in Putonghua
* Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Access
* A collaborative team player with the ability to work independently under guidance
Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Officer.
(Duration: 2 years, renewable).
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits, will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of the contract.
