RESEARCH INTERNSHIP Consumer Marketing, Retail & Branding (unpaid) Please note that this is an unpaid internship and your school needs to provide practical support for this internship (internship contract and insurance). The Area Marketing of Vlerick Business School is looking for an enthusiastic intern to support the Consumer Marketing, Retail & Branding cluster. We collaborate closely with leading organisations such as Nespresso, Nescafé Dolce Gusto, Coca-Cola, BelOrta, Edgard & Cooper, Lidl, VRT, TBWA, BBDO, Human8, Conveo.AI, Perrier and others. Together, we develop innovative marketing initiatives, creative challenges and research-driven projects that bridge consumer psychology with business practice. You will work at the intersection of academia, technology and real-world marketing. Your set-up A fixed workspace at our beautiful campus in Ghent. Involvement in occasional activities at our Brussels and Leuven campuses and at partner company locations (transport costs compensated). One-on-one coaching and close supervision throughout your internship. Your mission Management & project support Support the organisation of initiatives with corporate partners (creative challenges, company visits, networking moments, deliverable sessions). Facilitate workshops and speaker activities. Contribute to initiatives around new technologies in the customer interface (e.g. chatbots, VR, AI), including coaching participants experimenting with these tools. Support internal website development and feedback sessions. Contribute to content marketing activities (video/photo support, social media, small branding campaigns). Research & knowledge development Contribute to practice-oriented research applying psychological concepts in business contexts. Support data collection and conceptual development in projects on topics such as price image, sustainability perceptions, consumer views on new technologies and customer journey management. Collaborate with academic partners such as KU Leuven and Ghent University. You Are currently completing a Master’s in Pyschology. Are curious, analytical and enjoy linking theory to practice. Are organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple tasks. Have excellent knowledge of Dutch and English, both written and verbal. Want to work on our beautiful campus in Ghent.
