The Opportunity
Due to continued growth and an expanding client portfolio, the firm is looking to hire a Corporate/Commercial Lawyer with 1 to 8 years of post-qualification experience. This is a unique opportunity to work at the highest level of the Belgian legal market, within a team that regularly leads on complex cross-border transactions and regulatory matters.
Key Responsibilities
* Advising domestic and international clients on corporate structuring, M&A, and general commercial matters
* Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, shareholder agreements, and corporate governance documentation
* Supporting clients with regulatory compliance and corporate advisory work
* Managing client relationships and collaborating closely with international offices on multi-jurisdictional transactions
* Conducting legal due diligence and risk assessments
Key Requirements
* 1–8 years of post-qualification legal experience in corporate and/or commercial law (PQE range flexible depending on individual expertise)
* Belgian Bar qualification (or in progress)
* Strong academic background in law (Belgian or EU degree)
* Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken)
* Previous experience at a leading law firm or reputable in-house legal department
* Commercial mindset, team spirit, and the ability to work independently with international clients
