Job Description
As a Junior Legal Counsel your responsibilities are:
* Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts for Belgium & Luxembourg
* Handling the legal inbox (incl. public procurement-related questions)
* Providing legal support on company law matters
* Supporting GDPR topics in collaboration with the DPO
* Launching and managing legal processes (e.g. DocuSign)
* Monitoring legal and regulatory developments
* Acting as a legal business partner for internal stakeholders
The Successful Applicant
A successful Junior Legal Counsel should have:
* Belgian Master's degree in Law
* Between 1 to 3 years of experience as a Legal Counsel or lawyer
* Exposure to commercial contract law and company law
* First experience or strong interest in GDPR
* Trilingual Dutch (fluent), French & English
* Proactive, hands-on and comfortable working with multiple stakeholders
* Motivated, flexible and eager to learn
