Field Service Manager – Belgium (with regional responsibility across Benelux)

We’re looking for an experienced service leader who thrives in a fast-moving environment and knows how to get the best out of a technical field team. This is a key role covering Belgium with oversight across the Netherlands, supporting a high-performing group of engineers working on complex scientific and medical equipment.

This is the chance to step into a region that’s growing quickly, with the scope to build, shape, and elevate the team over the next 3–6 months. You’ll be the person who brings clarity, sets priorities, and keeps performance on track—while staying close to customers and the day-to-day reality in the field.

What you’ll take ownership of

* Leading a team of 7 field engineers across Belgium with potential to also manage the Netherlands
* Setting direction, managing performance, and giving the team what they need to move fast and deliver
* Staying hands-on with customers and engineers—this is not a desk role
* Managing KPIs, dashboards, process improvements, and service delivery standards
* Tackling the tough conversations when needed and keeping the region aligned and focused
* Supporting a smooth transition in leadership and helping shape the next phase of the Benelux organisation
* Working closely with technical, commercial, and operational teams to ensure service quality and customer satisfaction stay high

What we’re looking for

* A proven Service Manager or Senior Team Lead used to managing complex field service operations
* Strong experience with scientific, medical, or other high-complexity equipment
* Someone who can make quick decisions, prioritise effectively, and keep multiple regions moving
* Confident with KPIs, dashboards, and continuous improvement
* Comfortable balancing strategic goals with hands-on field engagement
* Dutch and English required; French is a plus
* Based in Belgium (Strong preference) or the Netherlands, with regular travel (around 3 days a week / 1–1.5 weeks per month)
