We’re looking for a Business Analyst to support data governance initiatives within European Institutions in Brussels.
You’ll help improve how data is managed, accessed, and used across large-scale systems supporting EU policies.
Your Role:
Business Analysis & Requirements
* Gather and translate business needs into clear requirements and documentation
* Bridge the gap between business and IT teams
Business Process & Risk Analysis
* Design and improve data governance processes
* Support implementation of the data governance roadmap
* Identify risks and ensure data quality and consistency
Testing & Validation
* Support validation of solutions and processes
* Ensure alignment with business and regulatory requirements
Stakeholder Coordination
* Act as key contact for data governance topics
* Collaborate with analysts, developers, and project leaders
Project & Domain Support
* Contribute to data governance in the R&I domain
* Promote tools and standards (metadata, cataloguing, data lineage)
What We’re Looking For:
Experience & Education
* Bachelor’s degree or Master degree
* At least 3 years years of work experience (of which at least 1 year as Business Analyst)
* At least 1 years of experience in data-related projects (data governance, data analytics, data warehousing, reporting, data migrations, data acquisition)
Analytical Skills
* Strong problem-solving mindset
* Structured, detail-oriented approach
Working Environment
* Comfortable in international and multicultural environments
* Fluent in English (C1 or C2)
