About the Job
The Network Product Engineer is responsible for defining, advertising and ensuring the delivery of sustainable, robust, and secure solutions. In close collaboration with Group Security, CTO and One Network Program, the Network Product Engineer will propose solutions at the right cost and bring business value to support the corporate business and lines of business strategies.
Responsibilities
* Contribute and support a medium to long‑term product evolution and continuous product improvement.
* Manage advisory, selection, design, secure build & integration for the products in scope.
* Facilitate communications and interactions between functional groups, AXA IT Services, strategic partners, and vendors.
* Ensure QoS delivery and support of solutions.
* Provide high‑expertise support on products and services.
Expected Skills & Experience
Experience
* Communication skills – exhibits strong listening, spoken and written communication, collaboration, and the ability to work in a global team. Network Products Engineer are expected to have the ability to understand and discuss with both senior managers and IT, and explain in clear language complicated architectural concepts and strategies.
* Openness and reaching out – strong human relationship skills, exhibit curiosity and can see opportunities in situations, not just problems.
* International profile – proven ability to work effectively in an international environment and a strong proficiency in English.
Technical Skills
* Experience in contributing to large architecture, standardization & transformation initiatives.
* Core activity: helping to roll out the new cloud infrastructure, including connectivity to our main providers (AWS, Azure, Google).
* Deliver L3 support for production.
* Experience managing cloud network technologies, AWS, Azure, Google, InterCloud, Transit Gateway.
* Network automation skills (Terraform, Ansible, Python).
Soft Skills / Transversal Skills
* University degree (engineer profile) with +2 years’ experience in Network Domain in an international and matrix organization.
* Must exhibit an understanding of today’s network and infrastructure challenges and trends, mostly at infrastructure and technical levels.
* Capacity to produce technical documentation and work instructions, including high‑level documents with a synthetic view.
