We are seeking a highly motivated journalist with a strong news sense and a keen interest in expanding coverage on topics relevant to people living in Belgium and beyond.
This includes everything from explaining developments in the Belgian government to breaking news on technology, business, and social issues, as well as covering international stories and EU affairs.
The successful candidate must have previous newsroom experience and be comfortable working at a fast pace under tight deadlines.

Requirements
* Full fluency in English
* Experience working in a newsroom
* University degree or equivalent
* Ability to speak French and/or Dutch is a plus
* Understanding of optimising content for online publication, including visual and graphic elements
* Competence with social media channels
* High level of motivation and willingness to take on responsibility in a small team
* Must reside in Belgium (or be willing to relocate) and be available to work in the Brussels office at least three days per week
