 
        
        Our client is a subsidiary, of a larger PE backed European Digital and Opensource technology company. They are looking to hire a General Manager (GM) for their Belgian subsidiary, €3 million revenue, to lead their next stage of growth.
Leading a team of 15 across business lines and running the P&L (approx.. 5 mil), you will take ownership for scaling the business unit, as well as ensuring its continued profitability. Once established in the role; you will take on the NL subsidiary of circa 2 million revenues.
Key responsibilities include:
 * Define and implement the subsidiary’s overall strategy.
 * Drive business development and ensure sustainable growth.
 * Oversee operations in the subsidiary and align them with the group’s objectives.
 * Foster an entrepreneurial culture and encourage innovation.
 * Manage a team of 15 employees, including a dedicated group of sales and consultants, ensuring synergy between technical and commercial teams.
 * Deliver the expected results in growth and profitability for the branch according to business planning.
 * Oversee the company’s financial performance, investments, and other business ventures.
Key skills required for the position:
 * Proven experience as a General Manager (GM) or Managing Director would be considered, as well as profiles in commercial or Sales leadership positions looking to transition roles.
 * Proven track record in scaling SME businesses and managing mid-sized teams.
 * Experience working for a small growth organisation within the IT Services/ Tech sector
 * Fluent in French, Flemish and English
 * Strong commercial acumen and proven market experience.
 * Entrepreneurial mindset with strong adaptability.
 * Excellent leadership and communication skills.
