We are a global project and cost management consultancy delivering high-profile construction programmes across Europe. We’re looking for an experienced Construction Lead Supervisor to take ownership of all building works on a major commercial site in Belgium.
You’ll lead day-to-day site delivery, coordinate subcontractors, enforce safety and quality standards, and keep the programme moving to key milestones.
What you’ll be doing
* Lead daily construction activities, ensuring works align to drawings, specs, programme, and site rules
* Drive subcontractor performance - productivity, sequencing, and safe working practices
* Own QA/QC execution - inspections, snagging, and compliance with building codes
* Implement and monitor safety systems - daily briefings, walkdowns, and corrective actions
* Plan and manage short-term lookaheads with subcontractors to remove blockers early
* Report progress, risks, and cost or programme impacts to project leadership
* Oversee materials, access, logistics, and deliveries so crews can keep building
* Act as the key on-site point of contact across PMs, engineers, and contractors
What we’re looking for
* Proven experience leading site delivery on large commercial building projects
* Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and materials
* Working knowledge of Belgian building regulations and site compliance expectations
* Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
* Clear leadership style - calm under pressure, firm on standards, practical problem-solver
* Fluent English - French or Dutch is a strong advantage
* Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or similar
* Safety certification (VCA preferred)
