Director, EU Affairs and International Department at AFG - The French Asset Management Association About the Role The Director, EU Affairs and International Department will: Report directly to Dominique de et Philippe Setbon, vice-présidents. Play a pivotal role in the strengthening of AFG’s strategy, objectives, projects and daily work at EU and International levels, and manage the team in charge of their implementation. Develop AFG’s outreach to ensure efficient work with European and international policymakers, in particular EU institutions, as well as within other European trade associations (Efama, PensionsEurope,..) and with other sister national trade associations. Increase support to AFG’s members to grow their European and International businesses, and foster the competitiveness and attractiveness of Paris as an asset management centre. The EU and International Department The Department is comprised of: The Brussels team, which is responsible for AFG’s outreach to EU and international policymakers, peers and relevant networks as well as implementing AFG’s government affairs strategy. The International Promotion team, based in Paris, who are responsible for promoting Paris as a world-leading asset management centre, as well as helping AFG’s members grow their international business. Location The Director will be based in Brussels with regular trips to Paris and travel to other EU cities as required.
