THE OPPORTUNITY
Our client is a vertically integrated global garment manufacturer headquartered in Jiangsu, China. With USD $450M in annual revenue and 4 owned factories across China (Jiangxi & Jiangsu), plus operations in Vietnam and Egypt, it serves some of North America's most recognised fashion retailers. Existing vendor partners include Free People, Urban Outfitters, PacSun, Lane Bryant, and Altar'd State. The manufacturer produces knits, wovens, sweaters, fashion tops, dresses, skirts, and accessories — all BSCI and WRAP certified.
Now we are making a dedicated push into the European market, with existing clients in France (Suncoo, Gerard Darrel) and active relationships in Poland and Germany. This role is central to accelerating that expansion in Europe.
This is a rare chance to be the first Sales Manager representing a major Asian manufacturer in the European fashion market — with real backing, real products, and real existing European clients to learn from. You will be the bridge between our global production capability and European mid-size fashion brands.
You will build relationships, generate new business, and directly shape how we grow in one of Europe's most important fashion markets.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Identify and approach small to mid-size European fashion brands looking for apparel manufacturing partners
Present our product range, capabilities, and pricing — supported by a dedicated internal team for quotations and sampling
Manage the full sales cycle: initial outreach → sampling → order confirmation
Attend Première Vision (Paris) and other relevant European trade shows alongside our market team
Maintain ongoing relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business
Report regularly to our Overseas Market Manager on pipeline, activity, and market feedback

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Essential:
Based in Spain, with an existing network in the Spanish fashion / apparel industry
Proven B2B sales experience — ideally selling to fashion buyers, sourcing managers, or brand owners
Fluent in English and Spanish
Self-motivated and comfortable operating independently in a field-based role
Entrepreneurial mindset — you see opportunity, not obstacles
A strong plus:
French language skills (existing client base in France)
Existing relationships with Spanish and other fashion brands or buyers in Europe
Experience working with Asian manufacturers or in cross-cultural B2B environments
Knowledge of garment production, fabrics, or apparel supply chains
What's on offer
Base: €3,000 / month (freelance contract)
Commission: 2–3% on confirmed orders (higher % on smaller/higher-margin orders)
Travel expenses: fully covered by company
Trade show attendance: Première Vision Paris + relevant European shows
Direct reporting line to decision-maker — no corporate layers
China HQ factories visits
This is a freelance (autónomo) contract. The candidate will be responsible for their own tax and social security obligations in Spain or other EU countries.
