To support a major finance transformation program within a leading financial institution, we are looking for an experienced Functional Analyst to join the Accounting & Reporting Solutions team.
You will contribute to the evolution and quality improvement of Finance systems, ensuring accurate data sourcing, strong data quality controls and reliable reporting towards ALM Group tools.

Your role
As a Senior Functional Analyst, your mission will focus on the analysis, improvement and validation of Data Quality Controls for Management Accounting systems and data delivered to ALM Group tools.
You will:
* Analyze Data Quality Controls implemented at Group level (COMET tool for ALM data).
* Use data analytics, data visualization, scripting and automation techniques.
* Identify root causes of control issues and propose remediation solutions.
* Write clear and complete business requirements.
* Define and maintain a structured roadmap.
* Prepare, coordinate and execute testing activities (detailed comparison of delivered vs expected results).
* Coordinate and follow up implementation of solutions.
* Define remediation action plans when sourcing corrections are required.
* Document solutions and related processes.
* Ensure proactive, clear and structured communication towards Management and stakeholders.
Your profile
* Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management or equivalent experience.
* Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar function within a financial institution.
* Strong experience as Functional Analyst / Data Analyst in Finance environments.
* Good understanding of ALM data and processes.
Technical skills
Mandatory:
* Strong knowledge of IT systems (SQL, Access, Excel).
* Stakeholder management.
* Clear and structured communication skills.
Nice to have:
* Business Objects, Cognos.
* Knowledge of General Accounting systems (OFS is a plus).
Business knowledge
Mandatory:
* ALM data & processes.
* Functional analysis in Finance systems.
Nice to have:
* Banking accounting knowledge.
Languages
* English: Fluent (written & spoken).
* French: Fluent (spoken).
