AI Engineer
MISSION
Our client is a world leader in precision-guided rocket systems for helicopters and jet aircraft. To support its ambitious production and product development roadmap, he is expanding its system team and is seeking an AI Engineer.
As an AI Engineer, you will join a multidisciplinary development team within the Engineering department. You will be involved in the development of two strategic areas centered on AI:
* Develop AI models to enhance both future and existing algorithms and control laws for Guidance, Navigation, Flight Controls, and Aiming Systems
* Conduct performance analysis and drive continuous improvement of the in-site production line by monitoring KPIs and adjusting AI models based on collected data You will be expected to support multiple projects, necessitating strong planning and organizational skills. In these projects, you will actively collaborate with Operations and in-line production services to enhance the performance of our rocket systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Participate in the design, configuration, and deployment of innovative AI tools aimed at analyzing production data and optimizing Non-Conformity Report (NCR) management
* Develop cutting-edge features for the Guidance Navigation & Control systems of Guided Rockets
* Collaborate with Industrialization and Quality teams to train AI models, enhance calibration procedures, and address deviations identified during acceptance testing • Model physical behaviors of new concepts and conduct simulations to support development efforts and facilitate critical technical decision-making
* Engage with Bid & Project teams to prepare technical proposals and respond to customer inquiries effectively • Participate in trials and firing campaigns, processing flight test data for analysis and reporting
* Collaborate with Industrialization teams to ensure the continuous integration and deployment of AI solutions within production environments
PROFILE
* Engineering degree, Master, PhD in computer science, AI, applied mathematics, Aeronautics, Informatics or related fields.
* Experience: previous experience (1 to 3 years minimum, including significant internships) in developing AI solutions.
* You are proficient in Python, particularly in data processing, AI applications, and automation tasks
* You possess experience in Machine Learning and Deep Learning, with proficiency in frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn
* You have a keen interest in Artificial Intelligence and actively follow the latest trends and innovations in the field.
* You have knowledge of MATLAB and Simulink
* You demonstrate the ability to work effectively within a team and communicate clearly and concisely
* You pay attention to detail and have a commitment to technical excellence
* Familiarity with optimization algorithms, including genetic algorithms, convex optimization, and Bayesian optimization techniques, is considered a plus
* C/C++, git, devOps, docker, Jenkins, Bitbucket is a plus
Given the nature of the role and access to sensitive data, the candidate must be able to obtain a security clearance under the Law of 11 December 1998. Applicants will be subject to a screening process by the National Security Authority (NSA).
