The Belgian branch, located in the center of Brussels, is actually looking for a versatile and detail-oriented
IT Engineer
to join our IT team during a key phase of digital transformation. This role is transversal, supporting both infrastructure operations and configurations within our Salesforce ecosystem. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, proactive, and capable of managing a wide range of responsibilities from compliance and monitoring to SmartComm integration.
As IT Engineer you report directly to the IT Manager.
FUNCTION & ROLE
:
1) Infrastructure & Operations
* Manage and monitor backup systems to ensure data integrity and disaster recovery readiness.
* Maintain and update infrastructure documentation (network, systems, architecture).
* Oversee license inventory and renewal tracking.
* Monitor IT infrastructure (servers, network, cloud services) both proactively and reactively.
* Apply and manage security updates and patches across systems and applications.
2) Compliance & Audit
* Support IT compliance initiatives and audit readiness (internal and external).
* Maintain documentation and evidence for regulatory and security audits.
* Collaborate with the System Engineer on risk assessments and mitigation plans.

3) Development & Integration
* Contribute to the development and deployment of components within the
Salesforce ecosystem
, including :
Azure API integrations / SmartComm
document generation and automation
PROFILE :
1) Technical Skills :
* Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, ...
* Basic networking knowledge (subnetting, DNS/DHCP, VLANs, firewall rule management)
* Comfortable with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 administration, Exchange Admin
* Experience with monitoring tools (e.g. PRTG).
* Familiarity with backup solutions (e.g., Veeam, Acronis).
* Experience with
Azure services
and
Salesforce integration
is a strong plus.
* Knowledge of
SmartComm
or similar document automation platforms is a bonus.
2) Qualifications :
* Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
* 1+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or system engineering.
* Experience in regulated environments (insurance, finance, healthcare) is a plus.
* Strong documentation and communication skills.
* Fluent in Dutch or French, English
