Function
Based in our headquarters in Zaventem, you are responsible for managing the logistic flow of goods from suppliers up to the final clients for customer service projects, in close cooperation with the Project Managers.
Key Accountabilities
* Coordinate the complete transport flow for worldwide customer service (spare parts division) projects from suppliers up to the final client.
* Establish the necessary export and transport documents (invoices, packing lists, certificates, …).
* Resolve delivery problems in collaboration with the aftersales department in a fast and pragmatic way (reminders, rush orders...).
* Work closely with the Warehouse Manager on deliveries, quality control, packing and shipping.
* Keep aftersales and other departments informed on the status of deliveries.
* Give instructions to forwarders.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of purchasing and transport administration related directives, processes & procedures.
Profile
* Master’s degree or equivalent by experience, with a preference in a logistics field.
* 3 to 5 years of experience in an international logistics/shipping/transport environment.
* Team player with good communication skills (verbally as well as in writing).
* Profound knowledge of incoterms 2020.
* Ability to work with high autonomy and well organised.
* Continuous improvement mindset and keen on taking initiative.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Knowledge of ERP systems and documentary credits is an asset.
* Fluent knowledge of English, Dutch or French (any other language is an asset)
