We are looking for our first People Manager. This isn't a role for someone who just wants to "do HR"—this is for a culture-builder. You will be the first person in the company doing it, meaning you have a blank canvas to define how we hire, how we grow, and how we celebrate.
If you have a startup soul, a high degree of emotional intelligence, and the "attitude" to lead from the front, we want you to be the guardian of our team's happiness.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
You will own the entire employee lifecycle, ensuring that every person who joins Permisso feels they are part of something special.
* Talent Acquisition: You’ll be our Head Hunter. Scout the best talent, filter for cultural fit, and manage the relationship with external recruiters when we need to scale fast.
* The Ultimate Onboarding: Create a "wow" experience for new joiners. From paperwork and hardware to creating our first Onboarding Handbook, you ensure everyone hits the ground running.
* Culture & Values: Values aren't just posters on a wall. You will make them livable, ensuring they are integrated into our feedback loops, daily rituals, and decision-making.
* People Coaching: Act as a bridge between leadership and the team. Set up feedback structures (1:1s, 360s) and ensure our people are growing as fast as the company.
* Team Happiness: You are the Chief Fun Officer. Organize team-building activities, offsites, and rituals that keep our Barcelona HQ buzzing with energy.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
* Startup/Scale-up Experience: You’ve seen the "beautiful chaos" of a growing company and know how to build processes where none exist.
* Attitude is Everything: You are empathetic but firm, creative but organized, and always proactive. You don't wait for permisso (😉) to improve things.
* Communication Mastery: You can navigate difficult conversations with grace and sell the Permisso vision to top-tier candidates.
* Hands-on Mentality: You’re comfortable shifting from high-level culture strategy to the manual work of setting up a laptop or drafting a contract.
* Language Skills: Full proficiency in Spanish and professional proficiency in English.
* Human-Centric: You genuinely care about people’s well-being and professional growth.
WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU
* Competitive Salary: Fixed annual salary of €40k – €45k, based on your experience and "startup miles."
* Performance Bonus: Variable pay of up to 10% of your gross annual (paid every six months).
* Equity: As the first HR hire, you’ll receive early-stage stock options. You are a key stakeholder in our success.
* A total of 26 days of paid vacation: 23 days of paid vacation + 1 day off for your birthday + 2 days off for Christmas and New Year's Eve.
