About the Role
For the Hub in Oevel, we are looking for a Transportation Specialist. As a Transportation Specialist, you’ll be a key player in the transportation team, responsible for coordinating and planning outbound transport flows, as well as handling the associated administrative follow-up for the EMEA Region. Your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the supply chain. You’ll collaborate closely with our internal supply chain teams and freight forwarders to keep everything running like clockwork. You will report directly to the Team Lead Transportation. In this position, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact in a fast-paced, international environment!
Responsibilities
* Drive global transportation excellence: Take the lead in orchestrating transport across road, air, sea, and rail from the EMEA Hub West & Oevel Plant. You’ll be the engine behind efficient, on-time deliveries to over 42 global destinations, ensuring stock flows with precision to meet fast-paced market demands.
* Own logistics operations end-to-end in your areas of responsibility: From transport documentation to customs clearance, certificates (IATA), and permits, you’ll have your hands on every detail, making sure compliance is flawless and operations never miss a beat. Your focus on accuracy ensures no step is overlooked.
* Lead game-changing transportation projects: You won’t just follow plans – you’ll shape them. As a pivotal player in key initiatives, your contributions will drive innovation and enhance our logistics performance, keeping us ahead of the competition.
* Create powerful stakeholder alliances: Your dynamic communication skills will build bridges across local, national, European, and global networks, ensuring fast alignment, smooth collaboration, and rapid decision-making that gets things done right.

* You’re flexible and adaptable: You’re ready to work beyond a traditional 9-5 schedule, with the energy and willingness to fit into a rotating shift system (in close coordination with the team), where you’ll work 8 consecutive hours between 6 AM and 8 PM.
* You are tech savvy, meaning you are intrigued by learning new systems and tools (e.g. PowerBI), and proficient in the use of them!
* Bring your A-game with a powerhouse skill set: Your hard skills portfolio is packed with expertise! You’ve mastered SAP and know your way around WMS systems. You handle DGN and export documentation prep like a pro, and if you’re familiar with Stream, that’s a big plus! Your command of Excel and Microsoft Office makes you unstoppable in managing data, tracking shipments, and staying ahead of every task.
