ICT Project Manager – HR | (12-Month Contract) | Leuven (3 days onsite)
A global leader in tech innovation and nanoelectronics is seeking a skilled ICT Project Manager (HR) for a 12-month contract. Based in Leuven, Belgium, this role operates on a hybrid model, requiring three days per week on-site to successfully collaborate with cross-functional internal teams and external stakeholders.
The company is seeking an experienced professional to drive complex HR transformation projects, ensuring new technology solutions are seamlessly delivered, adopted, and integrated into the business operations.
The Role
As the primary point of contact for project delivery, you will oversee the full lifecycle of HR ICT initiatives from planning through to operational handover.
Key responsibilities
* Project Planning & Governance: Defining comprehensive project plans (timelines, resources, risks, and dependencies), establishing governance structures, and running steering committees.
* Vendor Management: Coordinating external software, hardware, and consultancy vendors to keep deliverables aligned with project objectives.
* Execution Excellence: Ensuring execution aligns with established quality gates and methodologies, alongside managing proactive risk mitigation and rigorous testing.
* Change Management: Leading communication, training, and post-go-live support to drive successful business adoption.
* Reporting & Collaboration: Delivering clear progress, budget, and risk reports to the ICT Business Partner, Team Leader, and ICT PMO Manager.
Profile & Experience
* Education: A Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
* Project & Change Management: A proven track record in project and change management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile/SAFe), applied pragmatically.
* Domain Expertise: Experience delivering HR transformation projects (e.g., HRIS, workforce management, talent/performance systems) and/or handling Microsoft M365 integrations.
* Technical Assets: Proficiency with the Microsoft 365 stack (SharePoint, Teams, PowerApps) is essential. Experience with Azure DevOps and workforce management tools (such as ATOSS) is a significant advantage.
* Key Skills: A no-nonsense, analytical team player with exceptional stakeholder communication skills. Fluent English is mandatory; knowledge of Dutch is an asset.
