Your responsibilities will include: Conducting structural calculations and analyses for buildings and infrastructures exposed to complex loads, such as earthquakes, explosions, tornadoes, and aircraft impacts. Overseeing and supervising construction activities to ensure adherence to technical specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. Performing inspections and quality control measures, verifying materials, construction methods, and execution on-site. Assisting in the preparation of technical specifications, reviewing contractor documentation, and offering technical expertise. Providing guidance and technical mentorship to junior engineers and subcontractors. Collaborating with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) teams to ensure compliance with safety regulations and effective risk management. Business Industry Energy Profile Educational Background : Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or an equivalent qualification. Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience, depending on the scope of responsibilities. Technical Expertise : Strong proficiency in structural calculations and both static and dynamic analysis, with experience in site supervision, construction monitoring, and quality control. Software Proficiency : Skilled in structural analysis software such as ANSYS and SCIA. Regulatory Knowledge : Familiarity with international standards and regulations, including Eurocodes, ASCE, ACI, and USNRC. Analytical Skills : Demonstrates an analytical mindset, autonomy, and effective teamwork abilities. Problem-Solving : Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges effectively. Language Proficiency : Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of French and/or Dutch is a plus.
