What will you be doing?

1. Lead significant audit projects – Take charge of complex audit files, ensuring the quality that gives clients confidence in financial reporting.
2. Build trusted client relationships – You’re the go-to contact for your clients, you realise independence and professionalism is crucial in your field yet know the difference a personal approach makes.
3. Deliver peace of mind – Manage the preparation and discussion of opinions letters and financial statements. Your work ensures accurate financial reporting.
4. Mentor and develop – Lead audit teams and junior colleagues, sharing your technical expertise while building the leadership skills that define the next step in your career.
5. Stay ahead of the curve – Get training through BDO Academy and external programs to stay sharp on audit standards, new techniques and regulatory developments.
What do you bring to the table?
Your foundation:
6. Master's degree in Economics or Business Engineering, with additional financial-economic qualifications being a strong asset
7. Minimum 10 years of professional auditing experience where you've demonstrated your technical capabilities and client management skills
8. Fluency in Dutch or French, and English; additional languages are valued and can open doors to our diverse client portfolio

9. Your communication skills are on point, allowing you to deliver your message to colleagues and clients
10. You adapt quickly to new challenges and client needs
11. You demonstrate flexibility and proactive thinking, always seeking solutions rather than just identifying problems
12. You have some people management experience and ambition to grow into senior leadership roles
