Goodman CE is seeking a versatile colleague to join our IT team focusing on document management. As a Document Management Specialist, you will be responsible for rethinking, redesigning, maintaining and promoting our document management processes and applications. This role ensures information is accurate, accessible, secure, and compliant with internal policies and regulatory requirements. More concretely, this means you will get the opportunity to: Define a sustainable document management strategy, policy and structure (processes, tools) to support the business needs. Drive the transition from the AS IS situation to the targeted set up and ensure consistency and compliance through audits and policy enforcement. Promote the understanding and adoption of document management strategy and tooling across the company. Train users and provide operational support to ensure effective and consistent document management. Coordinate with IT and business teams to ensure document management best practices are integrated in daily operations. Offer expertise and guidance on document management, records management, content management, collaboration, portal and taxonomy development. Collaborate closely with the information security officer to ensure data is securely handled in line with information protection regulations and standards. Provide guidance to the outsourcing partner on how to properly maintain the document management applications. Do you recognize yourself? Min 5 years of experience in document management and/or IT consulting Degree in information technology is a plus Analytical mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving Certifications in document management are a plus Experience with SharePoint Online, MS365, and MS Teams Excellent communication, training, collaboration and stakeholder management skills Ability to work independently and drive projects autonomously Experience conducting audits and risk assessments Familiarity with taxonomy and permission management Fluent in written and spoken English Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe Not sure if you fit the profile?
