We are seeking a Senior/Principal Consultant in the fields of Research & Innovation to join our dynamic Brussels team
. In this role, you will contribute to the development of our portfolio of strategic studies and evaluations, using a range of qualitative and quantitative methodologies. You will play a central role in project delivery and in growing our portfolio of work through business development. You will contribute to the development of our talented team of analysts, fostering growth and excellence.
Your profile
Applicants For This Consultant Position Should Have
* Five to eight years (5-8) of professional experience in contributing to strategic studies and evaluations and in consultancy, policy research, or applied research, with a proven track record in business development and securing contracts.
* A solid understanding of EU policies in research and innovation is preferred, although a keen interest in these areas may also be suitable for the right candidate.
* Coordination skills, including the ability to contribute to multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines, with an interest in supporting and growing project management skills.
* Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write clear and concise evidence-based reports and deliver engaging presentations.
* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to conduct rigorous studies and draw insightful conclusions from data.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team from diverse backgrounds, and able to deliver tasks under tight deadlines, with a problem-solving mindset.
* A previous experience working in an advisory/consultancy firm is a mandatory requirement.
* Excellent command of spoken and written English is essential and fluency in other European languages is considered an asset.
Your responsibilities
Drive business development and strategic growth
Lead efforts to identify new business opportunities and expand our client base.
Prepare and submit winning proposals and tenders for EU and international clients.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and external experts.
Contribute to the strategic growth of our R&I practice.
Play a visible role in positioning Technopolis Group as a trusted partner for high-impact EU projects.
Lead and deliver projects
Manage and deliver high-quality consulting assignments on climate, environmental, and biodiversity policies.
Design and apply innovative methodological approaches to answer complex policy questions.
Conduct research, interviews, data analysis, and stakeholder consultations.
Draft analytical reports and policy papers for clients and decision-makers.
Oversee project delivery, budgets, and timelines to ensure excellence.
Support team development
Mentor and support junior colleagues.
Collaborate with colleagues across Technopolis Group's international offices to deliver impactful, cross-border projects
