The Reactor Safety unit is seeking an experienced expert to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting safety analyses and determining safety-oriented design specifications for the reactor systems.
* Perform safety analyses, mainly thermohydraulic and linked to neutronics, to identify potential risks and hazards.
* Determine safety requirements for the reactor systems and verify their integration into the design.
* Collaborate with design and R&D teams to implement safety requirements and validate safety assessment tools.
* Take responsibility for assigned objectives and adapt to changes in project planning.
* Report progress and planning to the RSA unit head.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in (Nuclear) Engineering or Sciences and experience with nuclear reactor theory, particularly knowledge of reactivity-insertion events and reactor feedbacks.
