We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Azure Cloud Platform Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. You will play a pivotal role in our cloud strategy, working closely with development teams, operations, and business stakeholders to deliver innovative and efficient cloud infrastructure. ☁️ Design and Architect Azure Solutions: Develop and implement comprehensive cloud solutions across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services, considering scalability, performance, security, and cost-effectiveness. Cloud Strategy and Roadmap: Contribute to the development and execution of the overall cloud strategy and roadmap, aligning with business objectives. Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance and technical leadership to development and operations teams on Azure best practices, architecture patterns, and emerging technologies. Migration and Modernization: Lead and support the migration of on-premises workloads to Azure, as well as the modernization of existing cloud applications. Proven experience as a Cloud Architect, Solutions Architect, or a similar role with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure. Compute (Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), App Services, Azure Functions) Networking (Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, Application Gateway, Azure Firewall, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway) Hybrid Cloud (Azure Local, Azure Arc) Cloud PC (AVD, Windows 365) Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, including microservices, serverless, and event-driven architectures. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.G., PowerShell, Azure CLI, Python). Solid understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions). Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Fluent in English and either French or Dutch, or both.
