Required Qualifications
A minimum requirement of a Bachelor's degree at a nationally recognised /certified University in a related discipline and 5 years post-related experience OR exceptionally, the lack of a university degree may be compensated by the demonstration of a candidate's particular abilities or experience that is/are of interest to NCIA, that is, at least 6 years extensive and progressive expertise in duties related to the function of the post;
Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks;
ITIL v4 Foundation;
Sound experience in IT services engineering, planning, operations, maintenance and management;
Sound experience on the Configuration Management and Change Management processes and tools;
Familiarity with military telecommunications and information systems; DCIS, VLF to Satellite EHF.
Desirable Qualifications
Additional knowledge of specialized military telecommunications protocols beyond those listed above. xphnsxz
Duties
Managing the Deployable CIS (DCIS) infrastructure as a service and ensuring system readiness at the level specified in the Service Level Agreements (SLA);
Managing the recommended list of spare parts and ensuring availability of spares in close coordination with NCIA Business Areas and the CSSC;
Sponsoring DCIS training courses delivered by the NCIA Academy, ensuring that technical content is aligned with the system baseline and meets operational user requirements.
