Job Summary
Production Support
* Support the development and follow-up of production plans, ensuring alignment with customer orders and internal workflows.
* Monitor material consumption, labor usage, and equipment efficiency, identifying and reporting anomalies or deviations.
* Ensure that production processes comply with established procedures and technical standards.
* Ensure product sampling and handover to the quality lab comply with established procedures
* Assist in coordinating production start-ups, changeovers, and shutdowns.
* Contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of production processes and tools.
Process & Performance Monitoring
* Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to output, process efficiency, and quality.
* Follow up closely product quality with the quality lab, define corrective actions in case of quality issues and coach people to deliver the expected product quality
* Provide accurate and timely reporting to the Production Manager on work progress and process performance.
* Propose corrective actions in the case of inefficiencies or workflow disruptions.
Cost & Resource Optimization
* Identify opportunities to reduce operational costs and optimize resources (methods, equipment, materials).
* Participate in budgeting activities related to production costs.
Team Coordination & Communication
* Act as an operational liaison between the Production Manager and shop floor supervisors.
* Coach actively the people on the shop floor to ensure safety, productivity and quality expectations are met
* Ensure clear communication across departments (maintenance, quality, supply chain) to support smooth production flows.
* Promote a positive work environment and foster teamwork.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Education and Experience requirements
Degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Industrial Management or related field, or proven experience in industrial production environments.
* Solid understanding of production flows, manufacturing systems, and industrial processes.
* Proven track record in leading and coaching people
