Join the Enterprise System Monitoring team as a Splunk IT Monitoring System Engineer and play a key role in safeguarding the performance and reliability of Euroclear’s infrastructure. Embedded within the dynamic Production Tribe of the Group Technology Services division, you’ll be part of a forward-thinking team that manages and evolves the core Production Monitoring ecosystem. Your mission: ensure seamless integration with monitoring tools, drive operational excellence, and contribute to the resilience of mission-critical systems across the Euroclear Group.
About the role:
As a Splunk IT Monitoring System Engineer for Enterprise System Management, your responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing the daily health and performance of the monitoring infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations.
2. Integrating technical logs intoSplunk, creating dashboards based on customer requirements, and establishing monitoring using various monitoring products.
3. Building strong partnerships with IT experts across various domains to foster collaboration and innovation.
4. Progressively becoming a go-to expert in multiple other system and monitoring technologies.
5. Leveraging your development skills to actively contribute to automation initiatives, helping streamline operations and boost efficiency.
6. Taking part in Watch-Duty rotations and supporting weekend releases and interventions to ensure 24/7 system reliability.
In this role, you will liaise with system engineering teams across various platforms (Linux, Windows, Mainframe, Network, Cloud platforms, …) to understand their monitoring needs and enhance the existing infrastructure.

What we’re looking for:
7. Bachelors in computer science or equivalent experience.
8. 5+ years with Splunk: log onboarding, dashboards, pipeline logs management.
9. Curious, structured, proactive, and customer focused.
10. A true team player who can also work independently.
11. Eager to grow and explore new monitoring tools.
12. Comfortable in Agile settings.
13. Proficient in scripting and automation (Ansible, Python, Shell, PowerShell, etc).
14. Fluent in English.
