Mechanical Project Engineer – Machine Building West Flanders, Belgium
For one of our clients, a well-established company specialized in custom machine building, we are looking for a Mechanical Project Engineer to strengthen their engineering team. The role sits at the intersection of mechanical design, project coordination, and industrial execution.
You will be responsible for mechanical projects from concept to delivery, working closely with internal teams and external partners. Coordinating mechanical engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle
Acting as the technical interface between engineering, production, assembly, and suppliers
Monitoring planning, budget, and technical risks during execution
Managing engineering changes and ensuring feasibility on the shop floor
Supporting testing, commissioning, and final technical handover
You have a solid foundation in mechanical engineering and feel comfortable in a project-driven, industrial environment where standard solutions are rare.
A degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
Experience within machine building, special machinery, or industrial equipment
You are fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch is a strong advantage in the local context.
