We’re partnering with a leading creative custom software development company in Brussels that blends design, engineering, and innovation to deliver standout digital products. From ambitious SMEs to globally recognised brands, their work spans cutting-edge platforms, intelligent systems, and beautifully crafted user experiences.
They’re now looking for a Lead Software Engineer to take ownership of technical direction, guide a small but talented team, and help push the boundaries of what modern software can do—especially in the rapidly evolving AI space.
What You’ll Do
* Lead and mentor a team of 2 developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing engineering culture
* Architect, design, and build scalable applications using TypeScript, React, and Node.js
* Drive the integration of AI and LLM-powered features into client products (e.g. GPT, Claude, Gemini)
* Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and clients to deliver impactful solutions
* Stay ahead of industry trends and bring fresh ideas into the business
* Ensure best practices across code quality, performance, and maintainability
What You Bring
* Strong experience with TypeScript, React, and Node.js in production environments
* Proven experience leading or mentoring developers
* Hands-on experience or strong interest in AI, LLMs, and machine learning concepts
* Familiarity with tools and platforms such as OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or GPT-based systems
* Solid understanding of software architecture and modern development practices
* Experience with Python and machine learning frameworks
