Iroko Iberia invests in and manages hotels, retail, office, and logistics properties on behalf of various investors. As we continue to expand rapidly, we are seeking a driven and entrepreneurial associate to sustain the growth strategy of the company (+130M€ acquisitions in 2025) with a focus on hospitality and retail.
Role Description
As an investment associate, you will assist the CEO on acquisitions in all asset classes: hotels, retail, office and logistics with a primary focus on Hotel and Retail.
Position Overview:
As an investment associate, you will assist the CEO on acquisitions in all asset classes: hotels, retail, office and logistics with a focus on Hotel and Retail from sourcing to closing.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential acquisition targets and market trends
* Develop and maintain relationships with property owners, tenants, brokers, developers, and other industry professionals to source opportunities
* Evaluate investment opportunities by performing financial analysis (CF modeling, BP, etc), assist on due diligence, and risk assessment
* Prepare investment proposals, investors presentations and Letter of Intents
* Collaborate with internal teams, investors as well as external advisors like lawyers, notary, technical managers, architects, etc
* Support negotiations and transaction structuring to secure best terms- Help financing the operations with national, international banks and debt Funds
* Monitor industry trends, economic factors, and regulatory changes that may impact investment decisions
* Assist in the development and implementation of asset management strategies to optimize property performance and investors returns
These missions are not exhaustive, this role requires a combination of strong analytical skills, desire to understand the market, and relationship-building abilities to drive successful transactions.
Qualifications:
* University degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or related field
* Strong capacity of analysis, rigorous and financial modeling skills
* Between 2 and 5 years of experience in investments, ideally with a focus on hotel
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
* Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and verbal
* Occasional travel – Driving license is needed
