We are seeking a seasoned Quality Manager to lead our food manufacturing team in Belgium. This is a freelance contract for a period of one year.
Key Responsibilities:
* Quality Management System (QMS): Implement and maintain the Quality Management System in accordance with international standards such as ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, and BRC.
* Product Testing & Validation: Supervise product testing and validation processes to ensure quality across all stages of production.
* Supplier Management: Conduct audits and assessments of suppliers to ensure quality and safety of raw materials and packaging.
* Root Cause Analysis & Corrective Actions: Investigate quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Requirements:
* Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality management role within the food manufacturing industry, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
* Certifications: Relevant quality management certifications such as Lead Auditor, Six Sigma, or HACCP are highly desirable.
* Languages: Fluent in English is required. Proficiency in Dutch or French is a strong plus.
