Job description
1. You help shape the application roadmap for manufacturing, coordinating both SAP and non-SAP tools across multiple sites.
2. You take ownership of the SAP modules (PP, WM, QM) within your domain, and support related applications like GE Proficy (MES), Ultimo, and Opcenter.
3. You act as application owner, working closely with the business to define needs, translate them into IT solutions, and guide implementations.
4. You help manage the high-level architecture and lifecycle of these applications in close collaboration with the domain lead and infrastructure teams.
5. You regularly interact with stakeholders (e.g. plant managers, key users) to ensure optimal usage of applications and alignment with business goals.
6. You manage or support projects such as the roll-out of MES, the upgrade to SAP S/4HANA, or the improvement of planning processes in SAP and IBP.
7. You ensure coordination between IT and business, challenge requirements, and bring structure and clarity to project delivery.
Profile
8. You hold a Master’s degree in a relevant field and have at least 5 years of experience in manufacturing-related IT or consulting.
9. You have solid knowledge of SAP PP and WM or EWM, and experience with end-to-end IT project lifecycles.
10. You are comfortable acting as a link between business and IT, and have experience with RFI/RFP processes and stakeholder management.
11. You are a strong communicator, eager to learn, and enjoy working in a coordinating, advisory role with ownership and impact.
12. You have an interest in manufacturing and a good feel for how applications support operational efficiency.
