Sales Director Job Description
As Sales Director, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's sales strategy forward. You will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, leading local teams to success, and taking the company's market position to the next level.
* You will set goals, manage performance, and provide coaching and guidance to our external and internal sales team.
* You will identify training needs, coach and mentor team members, and conduct performance appraisals to monitor progress and provide constructive feedback.
* You will also be responsible for managing and expanding our sales network, focusing on distribution, industry & OEMs, and collaborating closely with our Business Development team.
Key Responsibilities:
* IDentifying new customers and maintaining strong relationships with existing partners.
* Analyzing the market and competition to identify opportunities and improve our market position.
* Working closely with internal teams such as marketing and product development to develop and launch products and services that meet customer needs.
* E nsuring excellent customer service and building long-term relationships with customers.
* Establishing and managing sales forecasts and reporting performance to the Global Sales Director.
Requirements:
* You must have a relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree in a commercial or technical field.
* You should have relevant experience in channel or B2B sales.
* You are open to traveling 50% of your time.
