Position Purpose, Responsibilities, and Key Duties
As a Financial & Management Accountant, you play a pivotal role in strengthening our accuracy on all the internal processes and supporting the further professionalization of our finance organization.
In this role, you will start with a strong focus on Core Accounting to master the business's fundamentals. Over time, you will take on increasing responsibilities in Business Controlling, directly supporting the strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities
Core Accounting & Compliance
* Perform daily bookkeeping tasks and manage accounts payable/receivable;
* Handle bank entries, payments, and monthly reconciliations;
* Prepare annual VAT lists, Intrastat declarations, and tax sheets;
* Support periodic closings (monthly, quarterly, and annual);
* Ensure accurate administrative processing in our ERP system (LISA).
Inventory & Operational Analysis
* Analyze and value warehouse movements to ensure accurate stock reporting;
* Monitor inventory levels and investigate discrepancies between physical stock and ERP records;
* Work closely with the Business Controller to monitor investments and book depreciation;
* Identify and explain deviations, trends, and risks in operational costs.
Controlling & Strategic Support
* Draft and analyze monthly business result statements;
* Contribute to finance-related improvement and optimization projects;
* Assist in building stronger financial insights for operational and strategic decisions.
Position Requirements
Qualifications and Prerequisites
* Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting or another financial discipline;
* Expertise: In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and international accounting standards;
* Technical Skills: Excellent Excel knowledge and comfort with digital working environments;
* Languages: Fluent in Dutch and proficient in English.
