Data Engineer
Brussels | Hybrid
My client, a leading European CRM provider, is looking for a Data Engineer to join their growing international team. You’ll play a key role in scaling a modern AWS-based data platform and supporting both analytics and AI initiatives.
The Role
You will help evolve a data warehouse built on a medallion architecture (Bronze / Silver / Gold), enabling high-quality data for business intelligence and AI use cases.
Key Responsibilities
* Improve and standardise Bronze and Silver layers, reducing technical debt
* Build domain-driven Gold datasets for analytics and AI consumption
* Develop and optimise data pipelines using Databricks or Glue with PySpark
* Support AI-ready data use cases (LLMs, embeddings, vectorisation)
* Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable data products
Requirements
* 5+ years’ experience in Data Engineering
* Strong Python and SQL skills
* Experience working within AWS data environments
* Understanding of data quality and governance practices
* Interest or experience in AI/ML data pipelines is advantageous
* Fluent in English
