Site Operations Manager Position
ITW Automotive Aftermarket Europe is looking for a Site Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of their manufacturing facility. This strategic position involves managing multiple areas including planning and procurement, production management, warehouse management, customer service, and team leadership.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years' experience in operational leadership and production planning, combined with a technical Bachelor's or Master's degree. They will also have proven analytical skills, project management methodology, and a process mindset. Additionally, they will have strong initiative, a customer mindset, and the ability to work at all levels within the organization.
The Site Operations Manager will be responsible for setting and driving the plant's strategy to meet key performance indicators (KPIs) on efficiency, quality, cost, and service. They will ensure optimal stock levels, regulatory compliance, and lead middle management. The role also involves supporting other site functions to achieve their goals.
Responsibilities include:
* Planning and Procurement: responsible for planning based on the Material Requirements Demand (MRD) framework and ensuring availability of raw materials, packaging, and components to support smooth production.
* Production Management: manage the site roadmap and facilities, optimize production planning, and drive improvements using ITW Toolbox methods.
* Warehouse Management: ensure customer satisfaction by managing efficient goods receiving, storage, and dispatch. Using the 80/20 approach, optimize warehouse space and logistics, maintain inventory accuracy, and align workforce planning with production and sales demand.
* Customer Service: ensure timely order processing and delivery while keeping customers and sales informed through clear, proactive communication.
* Team Leadership and Management: lead and inspire a high-performing team while fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
* Site Management: serve as the local contact for onsite and remote colleagues, supporting them in achieving their goals.
