Overview
We are seeking an experienced PowerCenter Data Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Informatica PowerCenter within an on-premises data environment. The successful candidate will join a data engineering team responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise-scale data integration and ETL solutions.
This role requires a highly technical professional who can work independently, troubleshoot complex data issues, and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of data platforms and processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter.
* Build and optimize data integration solutions across multiple source and target systems.
* Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable data engineering solutions.
* Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data processing and performance issues.
* Perform data validation, quality checks, and reconciliation activities.
* Support deployment, testing, and release management activities.
* Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and other technical teams to ensure reliable data delivery.
* Contribute to documentation, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
* Strong commercial experience with Informatica PowerCenter.
* Proven background in ETL development and data integration projects.
* Experience working in on-premises data environments.
* Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL.
* Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
* Experience working within large-scale enterprise environments.
* Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
