Our client, a leading international pharmaceutical group,
having its operative offices in Luxembourg
is looking to recruit a:
Senior Legal Counsel (m/f)
to be based in their offices in Luxembourg.
Function
Reporting to the Head of the Legal Department, this role is a challenging opportunity to support our growing business and reinforce the Legal department, mainly in charge of the following activities:
* Analysis, review and negotiation of a wide range of international agreements related to a large portfolio, with a special focus on commercial law (e.g, license agreements, distribution agreements) and all kind of agreements linked to the life cycle of the products (Medical marketing aspects, the manufacturing and supply agreements.....)
* Act as a business partner and provide daily assistance to all functions of the company
* Management of any other legal documents as required by day-to-day operations;
* Provide legal assistance on contractual and legal obligations ensuring that decisions and actions are coherent with international laws & regulations
Operating at a corporate level in the group, you will develop your skills and gain responsibility in the day-to-day legal matters in respect to the major product in the group's portfolio.
Profile
* University Degree in Law with good knowledge of contract law and EU law, complemented by a Master in Business Administration or an LLM
* 5-8 years experience as in-house lawyer in an international focused company
* A prior experience in the healthcare/ pharmaceutical environment would be an advantage
* Good knowledge of EU laws & regulations
* Team player with an ability to work autonomously
* Effective planning and time-management skills
* The successful candidate will have a proactive and dynamic approach, show high flexibility and demonstrate excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills
Language
* Perfect command of English is mandatory (both written and spoken), knowledge of any another major european language (French, Italian, Spanish or German) is an important asset
