At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Senior Product Owner to join our UniQue team.
What will you be doing in this role:
* Refine and enhance current working methods related to product management across all IT projects within the unit.
* Align existing processes with PM² Agile methodologies.
* Collaborate closely with project managers and product owners to ensure proper prioritization, business value assessment, and functionality coverage for all work performed by the Agile development team.
* Validate agreed scopes and deliverables with business stakeholders.
* Prioritize and sequence the product backlog in line with the organization’s strategic priorities.
* Contribute to decisions regarding the scheduling of user stories into sprints.
* Actively participate in project planning, daily Scrum stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, demos, and release planning meetings.
* Review deliverables and demonstrable product features at the end of each sprint.
* Facilitate product acceptance by the business through clear, enforceable processes.
* Report progress to project and portfolio managers.
* Provide guidance on the selected requirements-gathering methodology and review related deliverables concerning product management.
* Participate in working groups and progress meetings.
* Support internal and external communication by enhancing transparency and sharing of relevant information.
Requirements
What do you need to succeed in this position?
* Master’s degree with a minimum of 13 years of overall IT experience.
* At least 4 years of hands-on experience implementing Agile methodologies in large-scale enterprise projects.
* Minimum of 3 years of dedicated experience in Product Management.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in Project Management.
* Excellent knowledge of PM² and PM² Agile frameworks.
* Proven success in deploying Agile in complex enterprise environments.
* Experience with Microsoft 365 tools, including Microsoft Project and SharePoint Online.
* Proficiency with Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, BigPicture, Gliffy, Balsamiq, etc.
* Solid understanding of the Application Management Lifecycle.
* Good knowledge of software development life cycles (SDLC), including waterfall, spiral, and agile models.
* Required Certifications
o Mandatory: Certified Scrum Product Owner.
o At least one of the following is required:
o PM² Advanced Certification (Practitioner)
o PM² Agile Certification
o PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, or equivalent project management certification
o Agile methodology certification (e.g., Scrum Master, Lean)
* Proficiency in English at a minimum of B2 level.
